I have been looking forward to drawing that final panel for months, you guys. Months.

As previously mentioned I’ll be at the MCM Expo London this weekend, in the Comics Village on table C78. Look for the Dark Places banner. Come and pick up some print comics (including The Silver Chain, which debuts at the show), a Kobold Propaganda poster (preorders available until tomorrow, the 28th), or just say hi – always good to meet new people. πŸ˜€

Ick. That is incredibly well-drawn and creepy. And not just the last panel, either, which you liked: I also love Evan kicking down that door!

Still… poor Aled. I called it, of course, but it’s still sad to see him go. I kinda liked him. (Now we’ll just need to hope he’ll stay down.)

OK, after the dynamic POV in the spiral staircase, I had to scroll down to that, that thing. The bat nose, the shredded bedding, the torn throat, the hornsβ€”very well done tableau for Hallowe’en week.

:: shudder ::

Thank you. πŸ˜€ I was working out the scheduling back when i started this arc, and was pretty pleased when the plot action lined up with the calendar so nicely. One of those happy accidents. πŸ˜€

Horns? Oops, those’re meant to be bat-like ears, I’ll have to go back and clarify them a bit.

ohmygosh. Those first two panels are genius. Just incredible. this whole page is great.

She definitely looks bat-eared to me, but I am a bit late to the party. Did you fix them already?

Thank you very much. πŸ˜€ This page/sequence has been sitting in my brain for months, so it’s great to be able to finally show it, and I’m super pleased that it has the impact I hoped for.

I’ve not had a chance to amend the ears yet, so it might just be a matter of first impressions. I need to get this week’s page done first, then I’ll go back and fix those ear-horn-things. πŸ˜€
