I really like the atmosphere and lighting in this page. It’s just amazing how much you can do with precisely two colors.
Thank you. 😀 It takes a bit of creative thinking, and sometimes I curse myself for not using more greyscale tones, but overall I think it gives the comic a distinctive look. 🙂
I love the moments when protagonists are exploring the Spooky Area and finding mysterious hints, before they actually encounter anything.
I also love the way you drew that skeleton!
I’m getting a lot of practice drawing skeletons in this chapter. 😀 And yeah, there are a few Clues around the place for them to find, which will hopefully make sense in hindsight. 😀
Yes, speaking of clues… shouldn’t that skeleton be just a normal guy sleeping?
You’d think so, wouldn’t you. Except there’s evidence of Foul Play afoot. 😀
KOBOLD!!!!
I know I’m coming late to the party, but that broken mirror; the pattern of fractures suggests something struck it at the ‘center of the web’…which is about what – ten, twelve feet above the floor, using 6-foot-ish Evan for reference?
Around that, yup. Could always have been something thrown, of course.
