It adds a certain ambiance, I think. It’s little touches like that which make a forbidding thorn-twined castle into a proper lair. 😀
Yes, i believe Alan Titchmarsh had made the same observation in an episode of Ground Force 8) But, seriously… ambiance is everything… Jason, without spooky music, fake fog and dark lighting is really just a nice but misunderstood machete aficionado with a hockey goalie mask fetish. 8)
