Ah, the talking skulls are brilliant. Thanks for pointing out they were landing when the witch arrived in her kettle. “Good morning Nana.” 🙂
And now the offering to repay in-kind a kindness given. Go Bear! (Hope he brought a chain saw.)
She is like a crazy old cat lady, only with skulls.
Someone brought up the Dread Pirate Roberts in the last update. I can definitely see it myself now.
Well, I guess he can be happy that it is cabbage.
And not children-haggis. Wich in turn is not haggis FOR children.
And the bear will likely helo pulling the trees. I mean it would be hard to split this much wood in a day, but much harder chopping down this much trees, chopping the branches off, pulling the to the hut (the seem to be some metres away) and the axes them into logs wich have to be split in a days matter.
Especially with a cruddy rusty old hatchet that’s been left out in the weather for however long. 😀
What is it about children anyway? Do they taste good, or sustain her powers, or is she just doing it for the sake of evil? Or maybe she’s bluffing and is really a vegetarian?
Because they are young and tender, not old and tough. 😀 Old people are only good for casseroles and stews.
I want to be a bog witch when I’m a terrible old lady, so I can threaten to boil up bad little children for soup. Sounds like the best retirement plan ever! 😀
@ Chow: Obviously, it is because children are delicious.
When my sister was working in a preschool nursery her favourite threat was that she’d put the naughty children in a paper bag and shake it. It… kind of makes no sense, but apparently it worked. 😀
Well… when did she work in this nursery? ‘Cause y’know “Shake & Bake”?

And even without the commercial product (shudder) if it was the right kind of neighborhood the mothers might have shaken seasoned chicken in a bag of flour. http://www.tv.com/video/10435638/throwdown-with-bobby-flay–fried-chicken-and-waffles at 1:38 1:39
