First off, apologies for the ongoing hiatus, which is stretching a bit beyond the two week between-chapters break that I’d intended. I am working on Chapter 3, but it’s slow going. Blah blah burnout blah motivation blah time management blah blah distractions blah – you’ve probably heard the excuses before so I’ll not bore you by trotting them out again.
Instead, I will say this: I’m aiming to have Dark Places resume updates at the start of November, which is… ack, a couple of weeks away. I’ve got a bunch of new characters and settings that I’m looking forward to showing you, and hope to do so without too much delay. I think you’ll like them.
In the meantime, I would like to offer my most sincere thanks for your support and indeed your patience during the past almost-a-year’s-worth of stories. I hope I will continue to earn it over the stories to come.
Stuff gets in the way! Especially when the winter sets in. I’m still not done with the page thumbnails for the next chapter of my comic, whose hiatus is stretched out a month or two now.
With the modern world of RSS feeds… people will still be there, waiting, without any hassle on their part.
Looking forward to when you begin the next chapter… well worth the wait i say! Besides, re-reading the past chapters has been a blast and a half!
